Certification Tests will be held after the third year (PJC Year-3) and final year (PJC Year-5) for the two Certifications i.e. Jyotiṣa Paṇḍita and Jyotiṣa Guru respectively.

The Jyotiṣa Paṇḍita certification test can be taken by students after they complete Parāśara Jyotiṣa Course Year-III (PJC Year-3). The process will begin with PJC Year-III and only those who have opted for this will be admitted into the certification process. In essence there will be two streams of students in PJC Year-3
(a) those who opt for both PJC-3 and Jyotiṣa Paṇḍita Certification, and
(b) those who only take the PJC-3 course
Just for information, The Jyotiṣa Guru final qualification examination can be taken only after students complete all five academic years of study of the course i.e. Parāśara Jyotiṣa Course Year-V (PJC Year-5). Students will be assigned a Jaimini Scholar guide for the certification process which will begin in the third year and continue till the final year. Your mentor is your guide.

The first year of the Parāśara Jyotiṣa Course is not included for examination in the certification process. Testing will be done with Charts only and students have to explain events or yogas in a given chart. Training for this will also be imparted during the Certification Preparation. For questions related to study contact Course Liaison Mrs. Sarbani Rath or Course Director Pt. Sanjay Rath but do consult the FAQ before doing so.
